According to the site, Free Your Buddy is an interactive video game based on the popular eighties text based computer games. This uses a messenger window to help people communicate with the Buddy character who is inside the old pc. The players must help Buddy get out of it.

Live Messenger on Windows Mobile lets you send instant messages, join group chats and share files on the move, so you and your buddies are free to communicate wherever and whenever it suits you.

Fun Idea: Online Casino with my Friends.

I remember a friend of mine who told me about her friend’s parents luck in casinos. They go out each night and head onto the Casino Filipino to try their luck and see if they can cash in on winnings again. I’ve always been curious as to how people get addicted on casinos, but when I tried out the casino games on yahoo and other game makers, I understood how much fun it can be to take risks and try my luck at the slots.

Since the casino is quite far from our home and since I prefer playing in the comforts of my own home, I might try an online casino in the future. I can choose from a wide range of games which might interest me and I can easily play without having to leave my room. I can even do it in my pajamas! Since I am of the legal age, I don’t think it would hurt to try and gamble online sometimes. It would be just for fun and of course I’d have a set limit so I don’t deplete all my funds. It could be like birthday event, hmm, maybe I can even invite my friends and we can all play against each other. Haha, now that would be a fun social. Each of us having fun in the comforts of our own home.

No more cheating on our cards, unless of course you have a cam installed behind their back. :P

Ubuntu. Getting started on opensource software.

I received my Ubuntu CD the other day and I am very much excited to try it. I have tried the Live CD and I think it does work well, definitely cleaner than Windows.

I haven’t tweaked it that much yet since I am still trying to read more on Ubuntu since I am new to linux being a windows user since I started using the pc. I like it a lot actually, though I am still having second thoughts because I use Photoshop a lot. I have tried GIMP but its much harder to use (in my own experience). Other than the Photoshop problem,I am also encountering a bit of trouble with regards to getting online since I’m a bit stuck with dial-up at the moment. I’m finding it hard to connect through my modem when I am in Ubuntu.

I have searched the net already for possible solutions but the syntax’s I saw made my head hurt so I figured I’d try it when I have more free time. I’m really trying to get a laptop soonish, and I am interested on running Ubuntu on it. The cheaper laptops here come with either Linux or no OS at all. I have to remember the technical assistants in the computer shops if they can install Ubuntu on the laptop that I would get from them. :D If they don’t have any ideas, I’d have to research some more or opt for the Windows ones, and then just change it into Ubuntu once I understand it better.

Good Business Practices: Investing in good E-commerce softwares.

I remember back when we started our practicum, our group was interested to do an online shop for our product. We wanted to offer our products to a larger market and having an online shop where interested customers can see and order our products. We knew it would be easier to get people interested if we accepted credit cards as well, but at that time we were still new and had no idea as to what shopping cart software to use, and what its purpose really is. At that time, e-commerce wasn’t in such a boom in our country yet, and traditional shopping was the method people opted for.

After a few years, I now understand the importance of good e-commerce softwares because they can make or break your online businesses. One of the issues online customers are very much concerned with is the safety of their credit card transactions over the internet. If your online business payment gateways doesn’t provide assurance as to its security, most customers will choose to look for another merchant who can offer them the security of keeping their identities and financial transactions safe and secure.

If you are interested on starting your own online shops, remember to choose e-commerce softwares that will help improve and secure your online transactions. Invest in your consumer’s safety and security and you will get more customers in the long run.

Simply Cute and Whimsical Feminine Wordpress Themes 11/13

I was checking some blogs and I stumbled upon an entry mentioning one of the themes from Scribblescratch.com. So I went and checked their other themes there. The themes on the page are basically based on Beccary’s “Dusk” theme. Its all 2 - columns and I think they are really cute and whimsically feminine.

So here are some of the screenshots of the ones I liked. If your interested in them, go and check out the themes from their site. ^^
